I was so busy making the house look christmassy that I forgot to post something about our First of Advent. For you, who doesn't know much about Advent... It is a countdown to Christmas with 4 candles. You start when it's four weeks until Christmas and light one candle each Sunday. During Advent our windows also have advent candles and advent stars. Advent is the start of the Swedish Christmas... On Sunday it is time for the second candle...
It's so busy here at the moment. We have our son's Graduation from Primary school next week, we have two Swimming Carnivals this week, one dance performance and Christmas Carols as well. Next week we have the other dance performance and the kids have Christmas break up parties in their classes with Secret Santa and all sorts of fun before it's time for the Christmas/Summer holiday! Back to the grind at the end of January next year, but first we'll enjoy a well deserved holiday!

Jag var så inne i allt julpyntande att jag alldeles glömde bort att posta nåt Adventsinlägg! Det är mycket nu med julavslutning, men också allt som hör till skolavslutningen för sonen som slutar 6:an och ska börja high school efter jullovet. Så mycket som ska hinnas med - två simtävlingar, två dansuppträdanden och julkonsert... Barnen ska ha julfest i klassrummen med secret santa. Sedan blir det ett välförtjänt sommar/jullov fram till slutet på januari nästa år!
