The other day, hubby and I popped in to a Vinnies Second-Hand Store which we haven't been to in ages. I was pleasantly surprised by their Christmas table - heaps of Christmas stuff and really nicely displayed! I could feel the Christmas spirit!

I just realised when typing this that it is exact two months until Christmas Eve. Two months!! Holy moly, time has definitely flown this year. It's only 7 weeks left of the school year...
Christmas Eve is the highlight of the Swedish Christmas, and since moving to Australia, our Swedish Australian family always celebrate the Swedish Christmas Eve with Christmas presents and Swedish Christmas food on the 24th and an Australian Christmas on Christmas Day. Our kids are definitely spoilt by getting presents twice on Christmas, but I think it is important to celebrate both their cultures.

Häromdagen besökte jag och maken en second-hand butik vi inte varit till på jättelänge. Jag blev glatt överraskat av deras fina julbord som hade en massa juligt - och det mycket fint skyltat! Jag kunde riktigt känna julstämningen i butiken.
Kom precis på, när jag sitter här och skriver, att det är två månader till julaftonen. Två månader!! Himmel och pannkaka, detta året har verkligen flygit iväg. Det är bara sju veckor kvar på skolåret...
Vi firar svensk jul på julaftonen och australisk jul på juldagen. Barnen blir naturligtvis bortskämda med två julfiranden, men jag tycker det är superviktigt att fira båda kulturer!
